Viola’s eyes opened and her mind was clear for a minute until everything came crashing to her. She didn’t remember her whole dream but she knew there was a young boy and a young girl calling her “mommy.”

There was some quiet chatter coming from her living room and she realized Olivia was still there. Getting out of bed, she looked through her open door and saw Olivia and Anderson sitting at her kitchen table. A delicious looking breakfast was sitting in front of them. Her mouth watered at the sight of hash browns, eggs, bacon, and toast.

“So now she’s pregnant?” Anderson asked Olivia for clarification.

“Yes, she’s pregnant with twins. The father sounds like a real asshole. He seems like the type that won’t step up to being a father.”

“I hate men who can’t take care of their responsibilities. It makes us men look bad.”

“I wish there was something I could do to help her. You can tell this whole pregnancy is stressing her out and making her sick.”

“I think it’s best you honor her wish of not wanting to be part of the wedding dance. Maybe I should get pregnant so I don’t have to do it either,” Anderson joked.

“Hey! It’s fun! All weddings need fun dances to keep the guests entertained.”

“The guests won’t care Olivia.”

“Anderson, shut up.”

“Then what are we going to do about rehearsal today?”

“I say we tell Martello to keep the original four couples and kick Nixon out because he’s a dick. He was so late and then he kept messing up the dance with Bethany.”

“Are you blind Olivia? Bethany is the worst dancer in the world.”

“No she isn’t, she’s trained in ballet.”

“Ballet is mostly solo dancing. She’s horrible with a partner.”

“Whatever.”

Anderson shook his head and took a sip from his coffee. That’s when Viola chose to enter the kitchen.

“Good morning Viola. Are you feeling better?” Olivia asked.

“Yes, very much,” she replied.

“That’s good. Anderson bought us breakfast so go ahead and dig in.”

Viola eagerly ate everything off her plate within minutes while Olivia and Anderson looked on in shock.

“You really are pregnant. I’ve never seen you eat so much food before,” Olivia commented.

“I’ll probably end up being a fat cow after all this,” Viola frowned.

“I’m sure you won’t. We hate to leave you by yourself but Anderson and I need to go to rehearsal. Call me if you need something, okay?”

“I will.” Viola waved goodbye to them and then shut her front door.
